Come trip through the breakbeat portal with INA – a radio host, DJ and vocalist based in Amsterdam. Combining her passion for UK sounds with sonic influences from her hometown Berlin, INA’s sets are tied together by percussion and powerful basslines. As a co-founder of the Lawaai Collective, INA also programs events and radio broadcasts that showcase emerging FLINTA* artists. With LAWAAI, she made her Amsterdam Dance Event debut in 2023, playing an all-vinyl set at Zwart Goud record store.

This mix takes you through to the darker side of her music collection, showcasing some of her current favourites in dubstep, bass and jungle.

Our good friend James aka @soundsfromthenightgarden drops in for number 55 with a classy techno mix to drive us into Autumn.

Night Garden has been gaining support across London's deep techno scene and beyond over the last couple of years, with a steady flow of top-quality releases and mixes, spanning full-throttle dancers and beautiful ambience.

We've had the pleasure of being blown away by a few signature wormhole Night Garden sets, so we're chuffed to host this re-record of a mix James put together for an intimate dance in the Italian mountains earlier this summer.

Demo72, formed in 2022, is the project of Denø and Moritz Werner, who have come together to explore and create ambient music.

Denø, a DJ and producer from Tübingen, Germany, is known for his driving, rhythmic, and hypnotic tracks. Over the years, he has developed a deep connection to ambient music, which he both produces and seamlessly integrates into his sets. This passion for immersive soundscapes finds a perfect match in his collaboration with Moritz Werner.

Moritz, hailing from Stuttgart, is the co-founder of Grauzone Records and a resident DJ at Different Spaces, a party series at Lehmann Club Stuttgart. With Grauzone Records, he has not only hosted numerous events in Stuttgart but also spearheaded Fundraiser VAs to support humanitarian efforts in countries like Turkey and Syria. 

Their mix for Unrush is a testament to their shared vision. It is a journey between numbing sonority and periodic percussion, designed to evoke deep sensations and personal memories. With a selection that includes mostly unreleased tracks, Demo72 presents a blend of calm elements, gentle vocals, and an undercurrent of darkness, creating a profound and immersive listening experience. Given their social involvement and refined musical taste, it was only natural to bring them on board for Unrush…

Cache 011 is an exploration into deep, psychedelic, and hypnotic techno, interwoven with ambient and IDM soundscapes. It draws energy and inspiration from this year's Monument festival, nestled in the Norwegian woods, and channels the interplay between the fast & the slow, the light & the dark, in sounds that I've been loving 🌲🛖☀️

POD is Melbourne producer Luc P's bass, jungle and beats project. Making techno and house as @JXTPS and @wukush, he was inspired to try something different after hearing a Paradox live set at Atonal festival. His production style is a mix of live hardware jamming alongside samples and breaks, seeking to keep it groovy and weird. This mix is all original productions featuring unreleased material and collaborations with @tamen, @pugilistmusic and @kinetic-vision label mate @edwardrichardskv.

With a very unique approach to genre. Made a feel good mix with tracks that are heavily influenced by House along with some expressive vocals. While maintaining the psychedelic and driving sounds she pushes.

Track Highlight:

"Get Up On This" by Isaiah is a track that I've played out several times and it's gotten huge responses on a variety of dancefloors. I've played it for both serious Techno crowds and more multi-genre -mixed ones. The result has been the same, Pure Joy and tons of dancing. I love that it feels like a House cut but is written at 140 BPM.
