Albumul ˜Muzica secreta a orașului˜ isi propune explorarea relațiilor și punctelor de întâlnire dintre diversele straturi sociale si culturale care au creat de-a lungul timpului ceea ce numim astăzi orașul Timișoara, oferind ascultătorului ocazia de explora o altă dimensiune a orașului în care trăiește și să descopere un suflet al orașului care există dincolo de clădiri, parcuri, festivaluri, revoluții, cutremure, asedii, demolări și reconstrucții.
Concluzie a mai multor sesiuni de inregistrari audio-video realizate de-a lungul verii 2024 în oraș, proiectul traduce în muzică impresiile subiective ale unor locuri celebre din oraș și poveștile din spatele acestora.
Această creație artistică a fost realizată printr-o finanțare Energie! Burse de creație, acordată de Municipiul Timișoara, prin Centrul de Proiecte. Creația nu reprezintă în mod necesar poziția Centrului de Proiecte al Municipiului Timișoara, iar acesta nu este responsabil de conținutul ei sau de modul în care poate fi folosită.

Improvising with electric baglama, some effects and a synthesizer. Recorded and mixed on cassette tape with Tascam 246 and some processing in Ableton live. Inspired by a poem by William Stanley Merwin (american poet).

[RO] Albumul este concluzia unui proiect realizat în cadrul programului "Cluj în rezidență" inițiat de Centrul Cultural Clujean. Realizat într-un timp relativ scurt (două luni) albumul surprinde în cele doăsprezece piese ale sale pulsul vieții de zi cu zi, poveștile oamenilor sau ale unor locuri din oraș precum și conexiunile dintre acestea.
Înregistrări de atmosferă, zgomote din trafic, ciripitul păsărilor și gălăgia de pe Oszer se întâlnesc pe ritmuri sincopate de roți de tranvai. Soliști vocali: pescărușii. O incursiune în atmosfera sonoră a unui oraș care se grăbeste încet: cluj, koloszvar, klausenburg.

The album is the conclusion of a project carried out within the "Cluj in residence" program initiated by the Cluj Cultural Center. Made in a relatively short amount of time, the album captures in its twelve tracks the pulse of everyday life, the stories of people or some places in the city, as well as the connections between them.
Atmospheric recordings, traffic noises, chirping birds and the noise of the Oszer meet on the syncopated rhythms of tram wheels. Vocal soloists: seagulls. A foray into the sonic atmosphere of a slowly rushing city: Cluj, Koloszvar, Klausenburg.

Made this peace while playing with a beautiful synthesizer (elektron analog keys) and it worked very well with Kalyi Jag track - Szar Ciriklyi.
Kalyi Jag is a hungarian gipsy music band from Budapest and two of them I think are from Satu Mare, north of Romania. Check them out if you like.
