@IDWW:Radio is back for the twelfth edition of our ID:Cast series, collaborating with bringing on the heat of the summer. For this occasion we invite you to get immersed in this new journey with the particular sound of @Mihai-Pol.

This 2 +/- hours set recorded exclusively for you comes full of Pol’s peculiar groove; a very special session that consist almost entirely of his own productions. Mihai didn’t waste no time in the studio last year, it is appreciable to the ear that all of his productions used in this set went through the stringent internal quality control procedure that characterizes his music. After tuning in, the user will comprehend why many describe "a late summer breeze, hard to label and imposible to forget” when talking about Mihai Pol’s sound.

The Brasovian is a fresh and rising talent in the Romanian scene which had a promising programming IT Career before he decided to drop it off and follow his true inner calling as a DJ/Producer. As a DJ, Mihai has been nestled amongst amazing artists in a thrilling list of festivals and club appearances around the world. 

His style (both in his creations and in his sets) has positioned him as one of the most relevant and influential artists in the underground scene today. Mihai's productions can be found on Subtil, Telum, Otaku and Lokomotiv (to mention just a few) and are constantly supported by top selectors in this game.

After four years since her last appearance on our platform, we're extremely happy to see one of our most popular faces in the techno and house panorama, Magda. Born in Poland and raised in Detroit, Magda's realm as an artist spans far beyond the typical role of DJ and producer, as she's also involved in music technology collaborations and events to producing premium Tequila - creating a truly unique, multifaceted expression of herself. When she's behind the decks, you'll never know what to expect: her wide selection spans from old-school house grooves into more hard and trippy electro tunes, all together into a formidable arsenal of electronic beats. Recently, Magda has produced and performed alongside T.B. Arthur as Blotter Trax, combining modular synthesis, live improvisation and rhythmic exploration. What's next? We don't know, but in the meantime, enjoy this 1-hour recording from the one and only Magda.

Rhadoo is one of the most important figures in Romanian minimal scene, as well as the underground scene. His DJ and production skills knows no boundaries. His style blends the old with the new, adding new elements to modern electronic music. In 2007, he founded the label [a:rpia:r] with his trusted friends Petre Inspirescu and Raresh. The label’s reputation grew rapidly worldwide and is now a solid platform for artists and music connoisseurs.

Creating worlds never seen before and the constant return to nature as the ultimate designer and source of inspiration are the prosperous obsessions shaping the artistic practice of Silviu Vișan a.k.a Dreamrec. Growing up around his artisan father who was building oversized toys for an amusement park turned into the perfect context to learn about the emotional experience of immersive environments and the secrets of morphing a place into an event. Not to mention it was the starting point for the self-thought wizard to try his hand at DIY magic either bringing joy or conjuring horror. Years later using videofeedback and layers of state-of-the-art software as tools to explore the unusual time&space where computers become genuinely unpredictable and the output becomes a fluid stream of pareidolia, Dreamrec is channeling in international festivals, clubs and art spaces his own visual aesthetic: immersive, mesmerizing and fictional as if visitors / partygoers physically stepped into another dimension. ...one of my best festival experiences ever. Ricardo played for hours and hours, refusing to stop. Even when security took his headphones aways he was still playing another record and another record, and so on... Side note: This might be a fake set, done by a fan... It surfaced around 2006 on the forums of mnml.nl. Even today I am not quite sure if it is really Ricardo's set from back then, but it contains some "Ricardo signature tunes" for sure.

Born and raised in Gera in Germany, Dana Ruh soon found her way to the capital city of Berlin. Since then, she ha been on a constantly evolving musical journey. In the early years, her sound was rooted in techno and landed most often on the label Brouqade Records, which she established in 2007. The label is still running too, and celebrated its 10th Year Birthday Celebration entitled 'Past/Present/Future' that emphatically encapsulated all that's great about the label. 
Aside from Brouqade, Dana's music has also featured on the liked of Autoreply, Work Them Records, Howl and Underground Quality. It was Jus Ed's label where she released her stunning debut album. 'Naturally' in 2014, an LP that introduced Dana to a whole new audience and showcased her pure house sound with some distinctions. In 2017 she started her new Label 'Cave Recordings' that showcased her wide musical range mainly rooted in House with old school flavor. 
When she isn't busy in the studio crafting textured tracks, Dana is a fine DJ who holds down resident duties at top Berlin space, Club der Visionaere. It is there that she lays down seductive tracks from the worlds of house and techno as well as gems in between. Aside from her beloved CDV, Dana has played in some of the globe's foremost house and techno nightclubs, often alongside some of the scene's prime movers and shakers. 
Despite working in such an over saturated and competitive field, Dana Ruh manages to speak louder and more coherently that most, and for that reason she deserves all the love she gets.
