Being mean to a vocoder with a pitched down monkey as the carrier signal. Might use this as part of the Skarg's vocal design?

Note: You need a pretty high sample rate interface to pull this kind of pitching off. Also recorded into a Sennheiser MKH 8040 for its extended high frequencies (50khz). Just so happens to have an awesome amount of bass too, didn't even need to touch any EQ.

Battle music WIP extract

Simulated "in-game" example. Starts with a piece of level music, before crossfading into the first of four layers of battle music.

Each subsequent layer fades in over time to simulate the combat involving more and more units, before fading back down and eventually crossfading back into the level music, signalling the end of the fight.
