Three similar tracks, all looking for the same thing. I'd planned to re-record these and make them "better" but decided they do what they were meant to do. "Better" is subjective.
I find myself using the Digitone more as a standalone synth than as a sequencer box. I've been annoyed with the presets and the sound pool and looking for ways to get around these. Figured out how to begin a track with a clean slate of sine waves and began editing there with this Junto in mind.
Each of these tracks is a short sequence captured with the Volante's looper, and frozen so it doesn't degrade and disintegrate just yet. Then, as the rain was falling out the window on these two spring evenings these were made, I'm looking for a feel, merely playing the "melody" over the repeating patterns. I imagined I'd return to these and fix them up or re-record them, but talked myself out of it.

Guitar and synth drone recorded in two takes, no edits. 
First track is two reversed guitar loops, playing some ambient stuff over the top mainly utilizing a volume pedal. Second track is synth/organ drones with the Digitakt.
Mixed with some Goodhertz plug-ins for vibrato, reverb and compression.

Making sense of the Moog Matriarch's sequencer and paraphony, and wondering how it gets along with Hologram Microcosm.
This is Matriarch into a mixer with Microcosm on the effects send/return. Five edits from a 30-minute take.

Just put this white guitar together and plugged it in. Hit record and just let it run a while. Got three decent outtakes out of it.

Started out innocently enough: Some random Op-1 sounds in the key of C into the Volante SOS. Let it degrade some, freeze it and record it. I figured I'd just save the odd little rhythmic piece as a loop to use later. But before shutting it down, I unfroze the loop and started playing the minilogue against it while still recording. Let it fade out for several minutes as the "tape" degraded, and thought it might be done then, But then tried playing some guitar against the whole thing before turning out the lights last night and I like where it went(Fender Coronado through the Strymon Iridium into Ableton). Added some compression and some tapey effects to the guitar via Goodhertz Wow Control, and voila.
Distancing, for these uncertain times.
