If you haven't been, it is an amazing event - the mountains, the sun, and of course the flaggers, which were so appreciative and supportive!!

Of note in Part 2 is an almost-mashup I made of the My Marianne version of "Husavik", and the [Avicii/Leona Lewis] track "Collide".  Previously I've given My Marianne and Leona Lewis a brief duet, with happy results (they are both Cahill remixes in the same key).

But just for Flagging In The Desert, I decided to make something special - I've given them four duets - two foreshadowing the upcoming "Collide", one for the transition, and one last, lingering echo of "My Hometown..." at the end of "Collide".  Now I just need to get them to do it live! :-)

Working at the hospital these days has been pretty stressful. With all of this social distancing, I decided to do something with my downtime that I have always wanted to do, as somewhat of an attempt to give myself a bit of an escape from reality. A few weeks ago I downloaded a free program and attempted to put songs together to make my very first podcast. By no means do I consider myself an actual DJ, as I have no real training or experience. Quite frankly, I still don’t really know how to utilize 99% of the program I downloaded. My only real goal was to compile a few hours of some of my favorite dance songs. It was not easy! While some of the transitions are meh, I’m still pretty damn proud of what I was able to accomplish in such a short period of time. At the very least, it’s 2 hours of fun dance music 🎶🎵💃
