Born and raised in Montreal, Mitch Oliver is an
emissary for the burgeoning east coast
melodic movement. The rising DJ/Producer
and Sound Engineer - signed to the likes of
multiple labels such as XYZ, Kindisch and
Akbal Music - has established a respected
reputation for his personalized blend of deep
emotive grooves. His deft touch in the studio
and adept curation have taken him across
Canada, the US, and the Caribbean with
performances at renowned events such as AIM
Festival, Burning Man and SXM Festival. At
home, Mitch Oliver has taken on the mantle of
driving the Montreal scene forward through
his budding Aurora events and through
vibrant residencies at the likes of Velvet and
Guy Laliberté’s PY1 Nights.

'Australian artist Jozef Conor is back on his Jozzman Trax imprint this July with three original cuts, including a remix from SOMA.

Riding on a high off the back of his debut album, Jozef Conor has gone from strength to strength in 2021. Jozef has dropped a slew of releases on his label and other prominent international purveyors, in addition to some pumping club gigs for those lucky enough to get around it in Melbourne. Building on a healthy schedule for 2021, Jozzman Trax label boss Jozef Conor brings the underground house sound with his labels sixth release entitled 'Be Right There' with a remix from Sydney born and internationally raised artist SOMA.

Both the title track 'Be Right There' and 'Nothing New' are bouncy, yet stripped-back house cuts, peppered with '90s themed vocals and swinging percussion, all with Jozef Conor's signature earth- shaking vibrations. SOMA's remix of 'Be Right There' sings true to the original whilst offering euphoric washes, dreamy pads and breezy grooves.'

SOMA – Bondi Night Waves
Track description: Inspired by the endless flow, energy and breaking of the waves, SOMA uses this lapping of the waves at Bondi at Night as the inspiration for this Track. Using field recordings taken at Ben Buckler at Dusk, the wash of the pads reflect the waves, the grimey overdriven nature of the leads are the salt in the air and on your face with synth stabs the flickering lights that emerge as dusk falls.

Artist biography: Sydney born and internationally raised, SOMA soaks up a diverse array of influences and channels them into his infectiously creative output. The result is a complex, duby, deep and spacious house driven sound that ventures and evolves through a euphoric soundscape.
