'Starting "Beyond the Future" in August 2020, Kamilo Sanclemente began a new chapter in his relationship with Proton Music. Provided with the perfect vehicle to showcase his original music plus remixes from specially selected artists, Volume 3 now opens with the driving energy of "Ashen Light" with its rolling bassline and relentless beat. Soft and sustained pads add counterweight while beautiful melodies and wobbly arp-lead glisten across the stereo spectrum and into the third movement. With it subtly darker vibe and immaculately grooved bassline, "Haumea" sparkles with its intricate percussive groove and syncopated glassy motifs. Adding complementary synthesised vocal phrases and textured pads to the fray creates a magical piece that opens up in the third movement. In collaboration with Giovanny Aparicio whom Sanclemente partnered with on Volume 2's "Innocense", "Azimut" sees an eighth note stab and reversed synth effects provide a glorious sonic collage that builds with melancholic chord sequences. An emotive bassline progression and shimmering arp phrase adds a touch of class at the breakdown, before the rhythmic foundation and melodic interplay evolves once again post-breakdown.'

An artist with a long and esteemed career within the underground dance industry, Chris Cargo is one of electronic music’s great innovators. Always at the bleeding edge of the progressive and deep house scene, he returns to his If You Wait imprint with a full-length album of ground-breaking breadth and diversity that showcases true “Resistance”.
A seasoned DJ and producer from Belfast, Cargo has seen his music reach far beyond the boundaries of his Northern Ireland home that have seen him enrapture crowds across all corners of the globe since the 1990s. From Shanghai and Siberia to Malaysia and Mexico for the likes of Smirnoff, & Renaissance, Cargo has thrilled with a series of meticulously crafted and spellbinding sets. A celebrated production career has run contemporaneously with Cargo seeing his music signed to a plethora of blue-chip imprints that include John 00 Fleming’s JOOF, Paul Thomas’ UV and Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden, as well as the likes of Mango Alley, Stellar Fountain and Flow Vinyl. Supported by DJs across the world, particular attention has been paid by the dance industry’s glitterati that features John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Laurent Garnier, to name but an elite few.
Using his own imprint as a vehicle for his music and a wealth of other high-profile artists, Chris Cargo now debuts his “Resistance” album on If You Wait.

Chris hopes to give his royalties from the album to a charity very close to his heart in Belfast.

"Marina" is a song that takes you to a state of joy, to a state of positivity. It is the proper name of our music studio, located in the city of Barcelona, where we composed many songs, including "Marina". It is a transmuting place, where we let the negative become joy, hope, and illusion through music and creation. We want to give people a moment of illusion and hope. A fun moment. A moment to dream and fulfill our desires.
