story they began with Sentir Así. While Sentir Así captured the euphoria of early morning
highs with Clara Cava, Hurting shifts focus inward. Starting with heartfelt piano chords
before evolving into an intricate electronic landscape, it’s a powerful anthem of renewal and
healing, carrying a message of strength, perspective, and letting go. If Sentir Así was about
the thrill of a sunrise high, Hurting is the track for what comes after—the moment when
clarity sets in, and you find yourself riding the groove into something real.

You’ll be familiar with lovetempo, the brainchild of Mattie Safer, known for his work as the singer and bassist of Poolside and The Rapture. Since its inception, Safer has fused saudade sentimentality and jazz-funk excursions with modern dancefloor sensibilities. Through body, soul, and basslines, lovetempo explores the triumphs and travails of the heart. 

Here the lead track from his recent EP receives a remix from the legend that is  Eric Kupper, celebrated for his collaborations with Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, and Arthur Baker, as well as his own solo remixes and productions.
