“Drifting On” began as a late-night session built around a melancholic piano loop and a pulsing, minimal groove. I wanted to capture the feeling of emotional dissociation — like you’re slowly fading into your environment. The production evolved through layering atmospheric synths, filtered textures, and fragmented vocals to create a sense of motion and stillness at once. The track blends melodic techno with deep tech-house, shaped to be both introspective and dancefloor-ready.

To support the release, I’m rolling out a cinematic music video that visually represents the feeling of dissolving into memory — including clips of a cannonball shot in slow motion and flashes of purple-lit festival moments. I’m also promoting the song across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and DJ sets, with plans to push it to melodic techno and deep house playlists.
