'RUBIX Records are proud to reveal their latest 2-track EP from up and coming producer and DJ, Parallel. The co-founder of Underspun Records graces us with his infectious melodies and moody basslines that have already seen him celebrated on channels such as Houz and Imported Paris.

Rooted in African culture, ‘Bafana Rhythm’ merges old with new to result in an enchanting and uplifting house track the combines Parallel’s production talent with musical genius of Professor Rhythm and his ‘Bafana Bafana’ release from the 90s.

Playing a fantastic supportive roll in this EP is a Parallel original, boasting an infectious, bouncing Italo sound that spirals into a euphoric wave of house magic.

After RUBIX’s debut release of ‘Hot for You’ with Andy Pender, this is a fantastic next step on the label’s journey to a diverse portfolio of eclectic and excellent house music.'

Currently based in Denver, Viktop hails originally from Miami, where he has built a name for himself through his hard work as a resident at Do Not Sit on the Furniture. His sound incorporates warm, beautiful melodies, groovy basslines, and more than a touch of class. Viktop seeks to touch the hearts and minds of dancers with improvisations based on their set, setting and atmosphere. His passion for music has lead him to start creating his own productions, where he is looking to continue to develop his unique sound.
