Frequent collaborators Robin Schellenberg & Rauschhaus present the ‘I Am Not My Ego’ EP on When We Dip XYZ. On this two-tracker, the seasoned producers serve a masterclass in melodic techno, fusing creative transitions and ambiguous emotions into a dark ambience. 

The title track, ‘I Am Not My Ego’, begins its pace with ominous bass stabs and a nimbling arp. An hypnotizing synth line then adds to the track's daunting vibe, as sighing ad-libs release the ever-building tension. 

On ‘Rise Of Thoughts’, the dynamic groove goes back and forth with its assorted counter-melodies. The hopeful progression of the breakdown leads into a stripped-back drop topped-off by industrial textures and effects.

'Argentinian DJ/Producer Sergio Saffe steps up for his debut on Neverdogs’ respected underground imprint Bamboleo Records with the impressive three-track ‘Covane’ EP. Featuring a trio of chunky house groovers, Sergio’s latest work is flooded with endless danceable flavours and hands-up dancefloor moments from start to finish.

The EP opens with the title cut ‘Covane’ riding swinging drum grooves, a raucous bassline melody, haunting vocal chops, and eerie plucks before ‘Santane’ delivers more lively beats and another combination of robust melodic elements with a definitive analogue accent. The release ends with ‘Sustance’ offering some variation with its rolling rhythms and pulsating bass tones, wrapped in endless layers of quirky percussive movement, mind-bending sampling and atmospheric throwdowns. 

Sergio Saffe, an Argentine DJ and producer based in Córdoba, brings a dynamic blend of minimal tech house to his La Fábrica and Basement Club residencies. With a career from 2008, his tracks have graced labels like Godeeva Records and Deeperfect, earning support from industry heavyweights like Jamie Jones and Richie Hawtin. He’s shared stages with icons like Marco Carola and Hot Since 82, performing at renowned venues such as Crobar Club and Rio Electronic Music. Sergio’s signature style captivates audiences with its infectious rhythms, creating unforgettable experiences for all who attend.'

'New imprint Positive Not Happy debuts with a fantastic EP from Milan-based label owners The Lumens with remixes from Stephan Bazbaz and Thomas A.S. 
 
The Lumens are DJ producers who have played all over Europe with their spiky energy and hard-hitting grooves standing them apart. They are also promoters behind some of Milan’s most exciting underground events including Phoenix Room, Pennyroyal After Tea and Electronic Barbecue. Their new, vinyl-only label will release music that fits with the name - a blend of house, techno, electronica and acid elements with high energy and psychedelic influences. It will come from close friends and collaborators from their local community as well as international guests and makes a brilliant start.  
 
They open up with 'Joy' an expansive house track with techno leaning drums. The swirling synths add a grand sense of space and scale and the subtle, well-designed details are what keep you locked in. No Waves Records boss and Rebellion associate Stephan Bazbaz steps up to deliver a slamming remix, in which he mixes goa-trance elements with a powerful, straight-up house beat. It's a real weapon.  
 
The superb 'Casa Acida' then sinks into a deeper, dubbier groove with lush wet claps but pounding kicks making for an intense groove. Plenty of warped synths bring a cosmic and late-night feel to finish things in style. Thomas A.S. completes the package with a lush interpretation that goes deep and bubbly, with mellow synth sequences melting into the groove and taking you with it.'
