Hey! Here's the set I played on Sunday 23rd of July at Seismo Festival in Denmark. The party was top top tier and the lineup was excellent. I played three hours (9-12) and just before the very best of the best (Ka-Sol). Nerve-wrecking to say the least. Anyways, it went well and the room was full of dance and trance. Unfortunately there was no recorder at the booth, so this is a re-recording. I think I mix better in front of a crowd than at home, but thats how it is. I hope you enjoy this trip  (=

Featuring 32 tracks released between 1998 and 2001, this embryonic cocktail captures a global movement in flux, as technological change ushered in a new era of experimentation, and the golden age of Goa trance came to a catastrophic end. Many strands of modern psytrance that would emerge from these tumultuous times can be heard here: the gritty rawness and anarchic dissonance of the emerging minimal wave; early hints of what would evolve into darkpsy and forest music; ecstatic, fist-pumping precursors to full-on psytrance; more stripped-down progressive beats with ample groove and swagger; and an enchanting trace of what would become psy dub. Via is a psytrance DJ from Copenhagen. Playing Forest Trance with influences from Scandinavia. She started collecting music and eventually started DJ’ing in 2011. Her style can be described as obscure, odd and trancy, with a touch of chaos.

In this mix we travel to the dark and lurky forest Myrkviðr, located somewhere between Asgard and Muspelheim. We will dance among gnomes and trolls, explore mysterious realms of soundscapes. So grab your magic wands, your brooms and your best potions for this trip

The project was born from the intention to infuse the music with the clear and fresh energy of nature and spread her message and open invitation to rejoin the universal dance of life. A gentle reminder for people to reconnect with the natural beauty which we are all a part of.. it surrounds us, nurtures us, yet also grows inside us and finds expression through all of us.

Influenced by the early goa sound, evolved by the contemporary progressive and full-on sound, while still containing some of the frequencies of the darker styles, we tried to create a full spectrum sound, bridging styles.

This music was made for outdoor, for those special magical places in nature surrounded by the wide open sky and fresh green forests. And even when its heard in a different moment and place in time and space, we hope to still give you that connection with the energy of sound
