An orchestration of Bloody Tears from the Castlevania series of games. This started as a test of something I'm working on and then progressed into a sort-of-full piece.

Castlevania - Bloody Tears Orchestra

So, this is an interesting story. Way back in 2006 -2007 I was playing around with the intro theme to MegaMan 3 and made a gruesome sketch/demo of it wich sounded terrible. I was talking to Sixto over at Overclocked Remix one day and said I had an interesting idea with this song and showed my demo to him.

After just a minute he heard the potential in it and started suggesting we made a collab and that I'd send my project files for him to look at. Well, said and done. I did and after no less than a week he had come up with something that completely blew my mind, and that was just a small part of what you hear today. Some time passed and before I knew it Zircon, another one of the well renowned remixers/composers at OCR joined in on it too and the result was this. 

I dare call it an epic masterpiece with so much emotion and creativity, just for this blue little robot with a cannon on his arm, fighting corrupted Mavericks in the year 20XX.

Breathing You In [feat. Jillian Aversa]

Quite possibly my most popular remix ever, this one is certainly a fan favorite. I was inspired to remix this theme after hearing another artist’s take on the material as a judge on OCR. It’s such an epic melody and progression that I just wanted to take it to the next level and go over-the-top with suspenseful pads, choir and strings, sound effects and a full orchestra (film score style.) With big beats and heavy guitars, of course. Even though I made this in 2007, I’m very proud of it!
