Nominated best live act 2013 by DJ mag and gaining album of the month in Mixmag in October the same year Saytek regularly tours the world with bookings at Fabric London, Space Ibiza, Tresor Berlin, Zoo project to name a few. His releases can be found on My Favorite Robot, Soma, Monique Musique as well as Kevin Saundersons legendary Techno label KMS records. This Set was Recorded Live in May at the amazing Muumitalo warehouse party in Helsinki and was one of Sayteks highlights of 2014.

It’s an Amsterdam Dance Event special this week, as we take a trip to the dancefloor and enjoy highlights from all of the DJs sets from Roger’s UNDR THE RADR party, at Escape in Amsterdam. 

It was a phenomenal night of music that went all the way through the night.

The radio show runs just like the club night did that night, with the hot talent from the UK, Bontan stepping up to the decks first. 

Next up Jesse Rose and Oliver Dollar combine for a back to back DJ set. Following that, Roger Sanchez takes over to get deep into the mix. 

And onto closing duties it’s Holland’s Man Without A Clue. We also catch up with the DJs and hear a few words from them.

On May 10th, we had arranged something truly special: a rare reunion from Art Department, Jonny and Kenny back under the original banner. The day before the show, though, we got word that Jonny tested positive for COVID and would not be able to make it. To make matters worse, Kenny showed up feeling off himself—stomach problems, not doing great. For a moment, we were not sure whether the set would happen at all.

Then, after a quick pep talk (and maybe a little Johnnie Walker), Kenny decided to push through. He played the entire set from just one side of the DJ setup, leaving the other deck silent, like he was holding space for Jonny. Mid-set he passed us his phone to grab some content; somewhere between shots we pulled a South Park moment and killed Kenny’s phone, leaving him to play on, clock-free and carried by the night’s energy.

With no idea what time it was, Kenny kept the dance floor alive well past closing. It was one of the most memorable sets of the season—raw, alive, and full of heart. Kenny played for both of them, and everyone there felt it. Nights like that are why we do this. For the music, the people, and the magic you could never script.
