Member of the IWOU crew and Sonartek, Italian producer NK aka Niki Ilb is back with a new release for Bebop Records. 

He co-created the Bebop label alongside longterm friend and collaborator Miki a year ago as he was coming with new music productions. As he sent them to Miki, they came up with the idea of a new label to release those last tracks. The name Bebop then arose from the strong jazz contamination Niki's music has.

As Bebop 001 was a strong break piece with a less club-oriented mood, they decided to go with some tracks for the club for the second record. Bebop 002 is a four-tracker EP that resonates between deep and dark, groovy and energised. Most of the tracks were recorded last summer, during the post-covid period and re-openings of clubs and parties. Deep, strong, moody grooves abound on the Dirty Business EP, which is lead by the title track. Sinisa's excellent bass-heavy, almost dubby, bassline's are once again the catalyst for maximum floor devastation and equally to the fore on second track Filthy Mind. The EP is closed by third cut Latinas and, as always with SCI+TEC releases, we are also treated to a collection of DJ tools, for those whose who like to get tricky

It’s been a busy 2014 so far for label head Dubfire. Whilst nothing unusual for the Persian-born producer, with the revival of Deep Dish (alongside Sharam), the release of their new single 'Quincy', the continuation of the SCI+TEC radio show, the release of his much vaunted remix of 'Come' featuring Asia Argento and his relentless global touring schedule, it would be a surprise to find even a slither of studio time for original Dubfire productions…

But find he did and today he unveils EXIT, his new single and collaboration with the first lady of techno, Miss Kittin. The pair have wanted to work together for years now and after a few idea exchanges they managed to sink their teeth into something magical. The strong low-end Dubfire groove is evident once again on EXIT as the pair playfully chop and reverse Kittin's vocals, pushing and withdrawing the bass to allow her sultry vocals to shine. On the flip we're treated to the electrifying wall of sound that is MIDIAN with its all-enveloping bass, pierced by energizing and synapse-searing shocks.
