Smooth, suggestive deep techno signed Daniel Tagliaferri aka Ivory. Out this friday on recently launched Belgian label / club night DEPTH.

For its second release, Depth gives voice to the rising Italian talent Daniel Tagliaferri aka Ivory who strikes again with a new amazingly crafted four-track EP.

"Nocturnal" is composed by 4 straight up rhythmical and yet subtly sophisticated compositions whose master ingredients are a compelling and percussive groove enhanced by artful waves of arpeggios and punctuated by dramatic and atmospheric breakdowns.

Opening the journey, "Revenge" features an outstanding combination of kicking afro-spirited percussions and clattering synths to create a powerful robotic and hypnotic tempo. Picking up the pace, the title track and Night Shadows both develop multiple

layers of synth chords and textures married with a catchy pulsating drum pattern and suggestive haunting vocal samples. The closing chapter driven by a whirling beat echoes the inspirational force of telluric spirits at dusk. Deep into the darkness, but without desperately sinking into its gloomy sides.

No doubt that with this last opus, Ivory singles out again with a unique and vivid display of both smart and emotional dancefloor-orientated soundscape.

With « Keita » EP, Depth gives voice to rising talents from innovating and growing Panamà’s electronic music movement: Carlos Barbero & George Olmos.

The two original tracks showcases a uniting passion for deep and organic percussive foundations merged with hooky melodic synth sequences and exotic vocal interjections, which lead to create a both groovy and hypnotizing aesthetic.

Juan’s take on Keita is featuring a slightly darker atmosphere set off by a profound bass line and backed with this unique and infectious ethnical-house signature which identifies his own productions as spiritual journeys.
Keene’s remix of Tafari emphasizes the afro-spirited moods with frenzy tribal drum beats and sharp stabbing synths, injecting the right power to ignite the dance floor and make the crowd freak out.

Next up is Migosy, an artist who has been making waves in recent years with his club focussed sounds. Here he serves up two more of his special tunes once more. 

Patanegra is an epic slow burner with a real sense of drama. It builds on militant drums and has exotic vocals over the dancing drums. It sweeps you up and carries you away with real emotion. 

Mbamba then stays just as deep, with moody and thoughtful pads over soft drums. It’s music to get you in a trance and marks another fine EP on this blossoming label.

Exclusive Bayaka 'How Will I Know (Beanfield & Thomas Herb Remix)'

Belgian label Depth continues to deliver (dance floor) gems. For its third release of 2019 Italian producer Bayaka contributes 'How Will I Know', which also gets the remix treatment from Munich based producer Beanfield and Thomas Herb. As the original take is seemingly a more deep and enchanting House cut, Herb and Beanfield's approach is more driving and club-oriented. The crisp hits as well as the percolating synths in combination with the driving and lush bassline add an almost techy-vibe to the overall warm soundscapes that makes the duo's remix a hard-hitting weapon for the floors. 

Bayaka's EP 'How Will I Know' will be released on Depth on September 13th, 2019.

Depth continues a steady release schedule to finish 2019. The Brussels based label now delivers a mystifying debut! Evident by his first-ever release, “Muhu,” Taavi Tuisk presents a promising new roster talent. The Estonian toes the line between driving melodic and Middle Eastern house on B-side “Seagulls.” Akin to avian acrobatics, the original mix winds through a plethora of bass stabs, creaky synths and coiling woodwinds.

Sifa is back with more brilliance on his Depth label that comes with some conceptual back stories. 

Actarus is the name of the EP and it comes from the Japanese animation Grendizer, in which Actarus (Duke Fleed) was the name of the principal character . His planet was destroyed and he found refuge on earth with a robot. This track is inspired by the episode where he loses his wife Vegalia: It is a masterfully melodic cut with deep, rolling techno drums and lush synth chords that take you on a trip. 

Cobra also comes from the Japanese animation Cobra Space Adventures, who is a space pirate traveling into space and living different adventures. The track is another majestic one with sci-fi pads and a rubbery bassline that rides up and down the scales as you glide through the galaxies.

This then is a true storytelling and evocative EP.
