Dancing Strangers was formed in late 2009 by Richard Rex (THE UNSAID) and Eric Curiel (Perros Cobardes) who, driven by the purpose to experiment with a more obscure and minimal sound, decided to create a concept with different influences like post-punk and dark wave. They released their first EP in 2010, a second one in 2011 titled "POWER.SEX.CORRUPTION" and "Lost in Lust" (Prima Crush, 2013). During this time they got the chance to share the stage with acts like Peter Hook and The Light, She Past Away, Indian Jewelry and Thieves Like Us. The duo went on a hiatus until early 2020 on which they started writing material for their first LP, released on september 2021 on Red Maze Records, Strange Arts and Bizario Trax. The self titled album is out on all music streaming platforms. Soon tour dates for live performances will be disclosed and the premise of Dancing Strangers will finally be out to experience.
