Long-time executive producer for label boss Oliver Huntemann and other artists, André Winter is also the man behind a number of prolific underground projects and releases sind 1995. Most recently André focusses on releases under his real name and now he drops his third tough-as-nails EP on Senso Sounds - both tracks primed for serious mainroom detonation.
'Argo' builds the tension expertly, before whipping us into delirium via deep synth bass tones that will shake club systems worldwide. The sound design is exceptional, provi- ding plenty of space in the mix amongst the groove. 'Norse' increases the BPM a notch or two, and delivers a hypnotic, loopy groove built around tightly programmed drums and an infectious melodic line. Once the huge lead synth lands, you can see why this is destined to melt some minds on discerning dancefloors this year.

Label boss Morttagua brings fire to the dance floor with his new EP on Timeless Moment. 

Considered one of the top underground producers in Brazil in the latest years, Morttagua has been impressing in every release due to his capability of bringing always fresh and unique sounds to the table, and on this EP is no different. 

Opening up the EP is 'Noctua Albus', a collaboration with fellow Brazilian D.E.C.A.D.A (Suara) that catches the listener's attention right at the very few seconds. With a magnificent arpeggiated bass line, ever evolving pads and constant climax changes, Noctua Albus is a perfect blend of 'Pryda vibes' with powerful Techno grooves. 

Aten, the second track of the EP, keeps the same rush of adrenaline from the first track pumping through our veins. Powerful kick drums and sub basses blend in a masterful manner with arpeggiated leads and atmospheric pads, turning this track into a perfect example of what a 'Progressive Techno' should sound like.

West Coast tech house institution Desert Hearts is gearing up for the launch of their new subsidiary imprint Desert Hearts Black. Headed up by Desert Hearts founder Marbs and fellow sonic explorer Evan Casey, the label aims to venture "into the deeper and darker avenues of electronic music."

For the label's debut release, Marbs and Evan Casey link up with Rinzen for a three-track EP titled 'Torus'. Ahead of its release on August 9, this trio of splendid artists has handed over the cut 'Helix' - a mischevious, seven-minute techno excursion packed with chimeric synth arrangements and exceptional soundscapes.

Following on from their joint remix on Lausbuben, Leipzig-based producer and Kittball favourite Marc Werner collaborates with fellow city resident, producer and live artist Panik Pop. With Marc's previous releases on the likes of Bunny Tiger and Audio Safari, alongside Panik's cuts on Celeste and Groovematics, the roaring duo now pair up once again for their first outing on Tube & Berger and Juliet Sikora's renowned Kittball imprint.
'Uji' opens with loose drums, sparkling wind chimes, bubbling Afro-Cuban percussion, distant vocals and an infectious bassline.
Next, Katermukke artists and Moonbootique bosses Moonbootica ignite the original on their remix of 'Uji' with teasing sax patterns, a sleek bass groove, intoxicating synth lines and firm kicks.

Next to join the ASTIR family is up and coming artist Aaron Lewis with ‘Horizon’. 

Aaron is flying high at the moment with a ring of releases due on some exciting mid-tier labels and the launch of his own label and events brand, Tipsy Cow. Taking something of a side step with this offering, Aaron showcases his incredible talent and studio craft with an energetic prog houser which we’ve been hammering at ASTIR towers for months. 

Staying close to home, the bedrock of this track is a solid tribal groove. Adding pads and melodics, Aaron has created a peak-time banger with rolling bass, intricate sonics and real intrigue. ‘Horizon’ is going to be a secret weapon track for a lot of DJs this summer.
