'Spectral' EP is the debut of Culprit originators Droog after they founded the Los Angeles based label six years ago. To prove themselves as producers, the LA collective have made a point of earning their stripes away from the label of their creation and the path has taken them to Crosstown Rebels, Supernature, Get Physical and Last Night on Earth, among others. Now, they have come home and they bring along Edu Imbernon, known for big releases on Suara, Culprit, his own two labels Fayer and Eklektisch and his remixes  for The xx and Hot Natured.

2016 has already been a stellar year for UJR with 36 amazing releases - and we are proud to present the next in our serious.

Evans starts our Spring with a 2 track EP. 
The name sake track and first release of the album Pluto Minus One is a sensual deep techno track, carefully layered and intelligently constructed, creating a rich sound.

Luis Leon Re-Encounter of this track builds on this deep, sensual feeling keeping many of the original pieces but adding rhythm and movement to the track creating a more dance floor friendly vibe, while maintining the lush feel of the original.

On the final track SPSS, Evans shows that he’s not just romantic and drives up the intensity with a more driving, slightly darker techno inspired track that rounds out this moody EP and leaves us inspired for a fantastic night!

Multi Culti’s lucid-lifestyle dreamer Peter Power takes us on a free-wheeling trip to the motherland on AFRO DAMBA.

The Irish-born Voodoohop resident has returned from the jungles of Bahia with a fresh ep of primal party tracks sampling voices and rhythms from across Africa and it’s neighbouring islands, producing what is easily his most club-oriented work to date. Whereas his tracks for Voodoohop were spiritual flute-heart-openers, these are neo-pagan mating-ritual floor-fillers. The rhythm is set to tribal chug, with rollicking percussion, reverb-soaked vocals, and all the fun jangly bells & bits you expect to be hanging off such a well-traveled producer.

If that weren’t enough, we enlisted Romanian-dance-duo Khidja to double-down and remix both Adama Waro and Dansakoni (available as a digital-exclusive). Resident mix-lord Dreems also weighs in with a subtle remix of Dansakoni, gently upping the tempo and tweaking the knobs in selfless service of the original groove.

Exclusive Kalyma 'Tanger Night Drive (Sobek Remix)'

One third of SOLIDE, namely Kalyma, returns with his 'Tanger Night Drive EP' to the label. Consisting of two original tracks, 'Arlequin' and 'Tanger Night Drive', the latter is remixed by Budapest-based producer Marton Sobek. The proven dance floor expert has contributed his forwardly-moving works to labels such as TAU, Connected or Stripped Down Records and enhanced renowned DJs' sets and now comes in with yet another remix that pushes its listeners to maximum powered dance actions. Starting off with synth-pads only a rhthmically influenced bass line sets in after round about 1:30 minutes as the afore-introduced floating synth-melody is repeated to then make way for hypnotical smooth chords that conclude with a break. Sobek's remix approach then holds another but more ravey synth, which adds depth and edginess but mostly creates this momentum the track has aimed at from the beginning.
