Title track ‘​Bright Lights’ explores the vocal delights of Digitaria with hypnotising effect scattered over high intensity chords and layers of hypersonic percussion. Second original offering, ‘​Cutoff’, p​ropels along a magnetic melody and vocal hook. Perfect for the after hours, Walker & Royce’s remix is all about the trippy vocals and a chunky, lo­slung bass. Rounding off the release, Scurrilous add a healthy dose of acid to their compelling version.

o+ H​aving met randomly on the way to Croatia four years ago, 1​2 Stories m​aterialised as a project built to bring two musical styles and influences together to create something fresh and exciting. The duo’s production efforts have so far seen a remix of Jenkyn’s own ‘​On Me’,​a remix of Walker and Royce and their first full release ‘​Night Obscure EP’ on Hot Creations. Originally from South Shields, M​ark Jenkyns has enjoyed a series of well received releases on Hot Creations, Hot Waves, Crosstown Rebels and Dogmatik. C​hristopher Sylvester under his Inxec alias has released on a wealth of labels including Contexterior, Last Night on Earth, Leftroom, Get Physical, Culprit and Crosstown Rebels.

o+o R​espected duo Sam Walker and Gavin Royce aka W​alker & Royce f​ormed in 2011 and have since released on the likes of Crosstown Rebels, Moda Black, Pets Recordings and OFF Recordings. Manchester’s latest offering Adam and Andre are DJ and production duo S​currilous.​Their first release appeared on Foreign Language Records and this remix on VIVa MUSiC paves the way for more to come including a full EP on VIVa remixed by Paul C & Paolo Martini.

It's not a surprise that the two would gel, both thanks to their happy-go-lucky ​personalities and their thunderous, bass beat sounds. Tone Depth - Centuries

Our favorite weekend of the year is back! The Dirtybird Campout is now 4 years old and gets better every year, and our annual festival of games and friends (and this year, swimming!) wouldn’t be complete with our traditional soundtrack, the “Dirtybird Campout West Compilation”.

We’ve packed in 12 brand new tracks as well as a mix from our newest Dirtybird Player, Steve Darko, who leads off the comp with “Switch It Up”. We unearthed Eli Brown’s remix of Fisher’s ‘Ya Kidding’, and Sacha Robotti & Kevin Knapp join forces for “King Midas”. James Curd makes his debut on Dirtybird with KE’s vocals on ‘Play To Win”, and Will Clarke remixes Nick Monaco’s “Drama”, which originally appeared on our East Coast comp.

Finishing off the musical journey is several new faces, including Pimpo Gama, MDE, n808, and NiQW, along with Lucati’s “Like 17, Lubelski’s “Kaya” and “Waremouse” from Wyatt Marshall & Fritz Carlton.
