theDoctor - mix001 - Breaker New Waves Vol. 1

theDoctor is Barrington Gates.  I used to go by DirtyBitBass, but Will I AM pretty much ruined that name with the Black Eye Peas dropping Dirty Bit in their song awhile back.  After that, all these noobs kept asking me for pop music at my set.  Got real tired of it, so I changed my name.

I produce whatever I want to.  My goal is to increase my skill with each production.  Rise was my first attempt at pushing my limits.  Though it's unfinished, I like what has come out of it so far.  Now I've began work on RWG.  I like what I have made so far.  I'm not sure where this track will lead, but I'm going to enjoy the ride there.

I use Reason and Cubase to create every original track that I post on here.  The mixes are made using PCDJ and/or CDJs.  I use what is available.  I'm a DJ from the 90s, so yes, I can rock vinyl, but you may never see that as I prefer to use digital.  I like the creative possibilities.  If you care more about the paint brush I use to create my art than the art itself, then go fuck yourself.
