Very rough mix- recording is a one take improvisation based on ideas and motifs decided on beforehand. Needs tidying up and generally improving

bit of a rough recording (nice tone, lacking in musical skill especially towards the end) that ended up sounding a bit like the beginnings of an explosions in the sky track

1st mess about on new computer

only very basic outline at the moment, needs a bit of a beat to define the timing a bit better as the synth and guitar don't quite match on their own, and needs more complexity/vocals etc. Liking it as a concept though. I'm aware that the guitar part is just a very basic scale repeated, the idea is to also have a solo on top of this but I haven't settled on one yet

The big reverby sound at the beginning is just a glitch in how SONAR is exporting my audio at the moment..

otherwise, I really like the feel of this track and some of the ideas, but it needs a lot of work, a lot of tightening up (I need a lot of practice) and more variation. This is my starting point

I am aware that I probably plagiarised Explosions in the Sky on a couple of occasions in this track.. I'm really not setting out to sound like them, this is just what I'm coming out with at the mo

A bit rough but for some reason I love the feel of this recording.. and ignore the atrocious rhythm of the beat track.. I was mainly experimenting with what rhythm worked best
