Yoh Ah Ah is the 2nd EP from Swiss and South African producers Dandara and Hesselberg. 2 years since their debut release on Nazca Records, they have joined forces again. 2 very different songs share a few common features. Neither song fits simply into any box. Each contains a diverse landscape of riffs, textures, unexpected moments, happy sounds, darker moods and always keeping the groove alive. These artists collaborate in the true sense of the word and the end product is always unique and special.

After Dandara was already featured on the ‘5 Jahre Bunte Kuh‘ compilation, he now presents his first EP on Bunte Kuh.  The EP ‚Sayo‘ comes with four original tracks. Olivan and Chakib Bouzidi have contributed to one track each. 

The title track ‘Sayo‘ is characterized by soft beats and light sounds. It captivates with guitar and vocals. 'Home Again‘ has a driving effect, clear sounds and invites you to move to the beats. 

‘About You‘ - Opens a dark abyss with churning bass and elegant beats. Makes you want to sink into this track.  ‘Miracle Cure‘ - With light, buzzing sounds and clear beats this track conjures up a wonderful lightness.

Dedicated to her grandfather, ‘Chanda’ is an expression of grief. The foley percussive sounds coupled with lullaby-esque vocals, convey hints of ASMR, attempting to soothe the listener by transporting them to their safe space. This song has been dedicated to one of Tarana’s dearest, and in many ways pays tribute to him by immortalising him in art form, while echoing his transformative impact on her life.

Komorebi • Chanda (Dandara Remix)

After Dandara and Reza digitally met, they both saw the potential in creating music together. The idea for this EP came from Reza's recent acoustic album "Yin" from which they took different ideas and sounds to create a new story, a shadow to the original narrative.


Shadow of Contemplation reworks the piano in Reza's original "Dhyana", a Sanskrit word meaning Contemplation, this track keeps the meditative nature of the original and takes it on an inward journey of the mind, body and soul.


Shadow of Creation uses a sample from the original, "Shakti", Sanskrit for primordial cosmic energy. This track means to express how the creative source of energy can infinitely transmute.


Shadow of Continuum, is an expansion from a small section of the original "Shiva", a Hindu God who destroys to create, this is the closing thought of the EP, to show how the end of one cycle can be the beginning of another, resulting in a continuum, even if we look for endings and beginnings.

Moon's Voyager - Drifting Apart (Dandara Remix)

For their fifth release on their own label Around Midnight, French duo Chambord entrusted both Fate and Friendship : this new “Fortune Teller” EP can be read like palm lines where 3 originals are craftily intertwined with 3 remixes.

Chambord’s long-term friendship with French DJ and producer Roze allowed them to develop a slightly different sound thread running through the whole EP : mystical beats support organic guitars and/or piano anthems which act as the main characters of the story. The remix of each track can be then heard as a sequel, with its own color and dramatic touch.

“Fortune Teller” sets the tone with its ascending and mesmerizing beats, while the guitar pinches drop like touches of sunlight on a peaceful sea of piano notes.
On Valentin Huedo’s version one can sense his Ibiza touch thanks to the addition of diffracted vocals and the strengthening of the baseline that turn the track into an essential club anthem.

“The Alchemist” puts the drums forward with a “bonfire” vibe that is heightened by tribe vocals. In contrast, the light electronic tunes bring a sense of togetherness : a sound formula that rises high into the night sky.
In Wahm’s lively remix, the psychedelic aspect of the track is enhanced with a thrilling combination of higher pitches and electric guitar, reminders of the roaring scene of Casablanca, Wahm’s native city.

“Merlin Diviner” embarks us on a soulful journey with its warm baseline mixed with solar guitar touches and ascending keyboards effects inspired by Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. For his second collaboration with Chambord, Dandara throws a dark yet enchanting touch to the track by using deeper beats that make the guitar part shine even more, thereby tracing a stellar pathway to any club or festival.

With its mystic yet joyful musical storyline, no doubt that “Fortune Teller” will put a spell on your ears and your heart thanks to its enchanting diversity.

Intro

“Muri”, the first single from Dandara’s debut album on Wonderwheel, celebrates the producer's roots and inspiration. The track starts off with a very basic rhythm part by Dandara. Chakib then recorded Balafon, Goumbri and several other traditional West African instruments before adding his catchy vocal parts to the song.

Olivan makes an impressive return to Bunte Kuh with a remarkable EP featuring two brand new tracks!

The title track Hundred Years is elevated by captivating remixes from Acid Pauli and Nhii, while Father and Son – a heartfelt collaboration between Olivan and his father – shines with a groovy remix by Dandara.

This release is not only a musical triumph but also a deeply personal milestone for Olivan. As an ecological offset for vinyl production and in memory of the old and massive copper beech described in the title track, which was destroyed by a severe storm, Olivan has planted a tree for each vinyl record produced.Every record comes with a personalized tree certificate, which can be customized with your details. The certificate provides information about the project, the tree species, the tree's location, and its ecological impact.

Sounds Of Sirin welcomes Swiss-based producer, DJ, and live-act Dandara with his new release, "Thruit." Known for blending organic and traditional music from around the world with the pulse of European electronic sounds, Dandara brings a rich, globally inspired perspective to the label.

The release features two original tracks: "Thruit" and "Spiritual Underground," both produced during his time in Thailand. Drawing inspiration from musical legends Fela Kuti and Carlos Santana, Dandara used samples from their live performances and interviews as a foundation, channeling their energy into these deeply personal productions.

With past releases on Sol Selectas, A Tribe Called Kotori, Aya Records, and more, and as co-founder of the Basel-based label LOKD, Dandara continues to expand the boundaries of electronic music. "Thruit" marks his debut on Sounds Of Sirin, an offering shaped by cultural connection, creative spontaneity, and the enduring influence of musical greats.
