G'day everyone!

This is my latest release forthcoming on Yellowfinger Communications. It is with great pleasure that I can now share with you my second remix to be released. The original track is by a guy who goes by the name of "Toefinger", who has some solid releases on VIM Records and Yellowfinger.

When I made this remix I was very much inspired by the old tech funk sound of Rogue Element, Koma & Bones, Alex Metric to name a few and I wanted to produce something a bit more uplifting and funkier as a direct contrast to the original. I also wanted to incorporate some of the layered bass techniques I used in my dnb production to give it a real raw and chunky sound and this is what I came up with.

This one is coming out on June 13th on Yellowfinger. It will be out exclusively on Beatport for 2 weeks before making it's way to other music download stores.

Doofs are a way for people like me to let off steam and dance for hours on end which cannot be achieved in many nightclubs due to shutouts, curfews and scary bouncers. Dan Discover - Blossom House Mix 2023

Hey guys and girls. This is my latest production, which is my first revamp of a favourite track of mine. The original is by Underworld and the remix was produced by Audiojack.  Seeing as though the track is a few years old, I wanted to give it a fresh vibe for the modern dance floor. 

I’ve been really inspired by Elite Force’s revamps over the years and I really wanted to create one of my own.  I feel it’s an exciting way of producing a unique version of a track that I like without just playing the original. I had so much fun making this tune and I can see myself doing a lot more of these in the future.

As always, I hope you guys like it. Feel free to leave a comment and/or share it. I always appreciate any feedback as it helps inspire me when I’m in the studio.

It has become a Blazing Swan tradition of mine to perform at Outrigger Island each year but this year I thought that wasn't going to happen. For most of the festival the weather had been unfavourable, with Outrigger Island particularity vulnerable to the elements. Fortunately on the last couple of days, there was a blessing from the Tiki Gods above, my prayers had been answered and the weather cleared.
