Senso Sounds drop a major release from techno heavyweight Dubfire and label boss Oliver Huntemann. Reuniting the partnership that has seen a string of seminal releases over the years in the form of their 'Elements' series, 'Humano' is the 2nd part of a continuation of this series - more weapons of grade dance-floor material from the high profile duo. Later on this year their partnership will be summarized in their 'Restrospec- tivo' album.
Former Deep Dish man Dubfire’s uncanny knowledge of how to create epic dance- floor moments is in full effect, combined with Huntemann’s precision tool production techniques on the original version of the title track. The result is a super tough, tight and incalculably driving slice of techno goodness that will ignite floors worldwide. The rest of the EP manages to maintain the pressure - with a set of sick remixes from Victor Ruiz, Hatzler and Shaded.
Ruiz, the Brazilian techno pioneer adds another level of fire to the original, tweaking and refining the track into a damager that pushes everything to 11 and hits home with every play. Hatzler, the Hamburg based German DJ/producer chooses a different direction - emphasizing more of the space in the original. Rinsing the tension to the next level, look out for the epic middle section break down. The whole package is primed to destroy clubs far and wide - techno at its most effective. Shaded’s Summer Skin remix also delivers a tightly wound interpretation, with a bubbling bass line and nervous, excited groove providing the fuel for an extended dancefloor excursion.

The third Realm Of Consciousness compilation on Tale Of Us’ Afterlife Recordings is the label’s most complete statement so far.

The four-vinyl opus opens with Tale Of Us’ now anthemic ‘Nova’, a high-impact and well-loved staple of their sets this year. Agents Of Time continue with the percussive rattle of ‘Paradigm’, before the first released collaboration between luminaries Recondite and Henrik Schwarz shines with understated melody.

Amongst Mind Against’s eerie masterpiece ‘Portal’ and impressive first appearances on Afterlife from Scuba (as SCB) and Steve Rachmad (as Sterac) are ethereal contributions from Fideles, Ovend and Øostil. UK techno veteran Edit Select channels the darker, hypnotic spirit of Afterlife with ‘Phase In’, setting up the sprawling, 14-minute epic from Luigi Tozzi and Antonio Ruscito.

To begin the compilation’s fourth disc, Konstantin Sibold & Kosme’s ‘Cyclone’ lifts the tone, leading into a more introspective sound from Hunter/Game on ‘Changing Weather’. Upcoming German talent Kevin De Vries follows with his infectious cut ‘Mágoa’ and Tone Depth ends the odyssey in mesmerising style with ‘Ibn Sina’.

The full spectrum of Tale Of Us’ Afterlife label is on display here, as they continue to push the envelope with a high-quality and diverse selection of artists.

Tube & Berger invite a selection of close friends and respected producers to remix last year's 'We Are All Stars' album this September.
Forming 15 years ago, Tube & Berger have released on FFRR, Defected and Suara, evolving from club DJs to first-class live acts - merging elements of indie and electronica like nobody else in the game. May 2017 saw them release 'We Are All Stars', their sophomore album featuring an amalgamation of club-angled beats, orchestral sounds, synth pop and indietronic. The German duo has now selected some of their favourite producers to create their own innovative and individual interpretations.
Featuring British vocalist Richard Judge, 'Dust Feel' has been given a club-focused update from Kittball co-owner Juliet Sikora in collaboration with label regular Flo Mrzdk – the result is built on snappy snares, rave inspired stabs and undulating bass complete with an epic breakdown.
Dutchman Rene' Amesz then shakes up 'Lucky Shot' with suspenseful synths and vocoder vocals, whilst Glaswegian duo Illyus & Barrientos take on 'Ruckus', blending Judge's mesmerizing vocals with trippy atmospherics, before Spain's Dennis Cruz provides his own interpretation with a rumbling low-end and shuffling percussion.
Mainz duo Teenage Mutants brings an energetic remix of 'International Corporate Motherfuckers' giving it a new burst of energy until things enter downtempo territories with Joonas L's deep and sultry rendition of 'Automatic People' and a refreshing and mellow version of 'Loyando' from Istanbul's Landikhan.

For his second outing on Senso Sounds, Brazilian DJ / producer Alex Stein drops the Maelstrom EP. Senso is home to all things techno, lovingly curated by label boss Oliver Huntemann, and here Stein unleashes two ferocious tracks that live up the release title. 'Maelstrom' is a driving, lean and mean slice of prime techno goodness. Exhibiting a keen ear for sound design and an
even greater sense for drama and tension, Maelstrom is a big room banger with plenty of subtle edges. Likewise, 'Steep' takes no prisoners - crisp percussion and a thick, propulsive kick start things off, before arpeggiated synths, pads and a killer bass pulse take things to the next level. This is techno stripped to its primal energies, and a marks the next step on what promises to be a
very interesting career for the man from Sao Paulo.
