Dandy & DeLions have been skanking around York in their current form since May 2012. After a few gigs as a smaller unit the public called for more brass and the Gods rained down horns. Yea, the people were happy.

Fresh from their performances in Leeds (The Cockpit), and in York (Jamnesty, Woodstock, and other studenty events) the group are now planning to take the entire world by storm, starting with Wales.
Taking influences from a wide variety of bands including the Cat Empire, Streetlight Manifesto and Will and the People, their high energy performances have already become famous in York's local music scene. In the words of Vision: "The band have a unique charm built firmly on the chemistry between sexy saxophonist Will Ingram and his saxophone. DeLions’ tunes were met with roars from an appreciative audience, with nobody failing to recognise the verve and skill behind their, in the mane, slick performance."
