the sun fends off the rain that came by
hug my big brother as i tell him that we tried

from plants thirsting for dioxide able to get their chemicals
every gust of wind is stronger than the last
and while i'm dealing with the now i end up looking at the past

the cats have been scrapping by your bedside
keep your door open for them cause otherwise
they'd pull up these carpets that you didn't like
but you thought were fine, so it's fine
you could never really tell a cat about life
it considers it a constant not a blessing to be alive
sort of how you played it, deep in stress and never smiled
your headspace has always dug its roots inside the wild
we've come so far i've been feeling travel sickness
but it could never leave with some medicine
truly it wasn't from the air, it's been within
one of your last gifts i've ever been given

vortex (grief raps)

Vertical layered score I composed for one of my favourite videogames: Nazi Zombies mode in Call of Duty.

This is the 3rd and SPICE layer of the score.

Spice Layer - (Intensity & Terror)

Third and final layer, aims to improve the meat from the previous layer. Enhances the drum pattern by adding in double time accents and light rhythms, together with the basic backbeat it essentially "doubles" the the tempo and feel creating a massive amount of urgency and and intensity. The extremely low tuned distorted guitar texture and an unsettling detuned high synth voicing carries the feeling of terror and extra intensity.
