Somewhere in 1997 or so I wrote this song while deep into serious Buddhist practice and also listening to a lot of very blues, funk, jazz and fusion inspired Christian gospel music, a genre that I find deeply inspiring. Obviously, there are Reggae influences as well, a genre I also very much appreciate. It has taken 26 years for it to finally emerge in recorded form. I am very grateful for the talented help of: Mz. Dee on main vocals (recorded by Jon Otis, and, yes, her vocals are vastly better than mine), Santiago Jimenez on guitar, and Doug Largent on organ. Songwriting, mixing, production, mastering, drum and horn programming, secondary vocals, and bass are by me. Thanks to everyone that inspired this song! Thanks to Har-Prakash for encouraging me to finally finish it. Thanks to MidJourney for the image.
