Born in Germany and shaped by the techno scene, Dan Faktz moved to Canada at the age of 10, where he embraced the rich music culture of Vancouver Island. Finding his beginnings at house parties he quickly levelled up to DJing local bars by the age of 18. His style draws from House, Electro, Breaks, Hip-Hop, and Rock. Blending these influences into a distinct sound defined by dirty bass lines, melodic breakdowns, and vocal heavy tracks.
With 18 years of experience, Dan has played a wide range of events across Vancouver Island. From iconic festivals like The Five Acre Shaker, Elevate The Arts and Heritage to Clubs / Bars such as Spice Lounge, The Mex, The Rod and Gun, The Cambie, Seven Lounge, and most recently LevelTwo Nightclub. His sets bring flawless blends, heavy drops, big bass and haunting vocals to the stage for chest pounding ride of peaks and valleys.
