I saw this rare beetle rise from the ground on a warm spring day, and the lively sun just reflected off of its tough black skin as it pushed on after emerging from the long winter's ground. I was deeply inspired to embrace the natural cycles of light and dark, of warmth and cold, of hibernation and activity, that we all experience in our lives and in our animal souls. The contrasting movements of the piece use rising and falling vocal melodies to parallel the seasonal cycles, within a structure of soft verses foiled by heavy choruses, to show that all natural reality is a series of cycles within cycles.

Boycott all processed foods, divest from fossil fuels, save resources, question everything, and educate everyone you know about the upcoming "Danger Day" that greed has prepared for us.
