"Jason Russo and I grew up in neighboring towns. He was in some great bands like Mercury Rev and Hopewell. I worked at the local record shop. I knew of him but we didn't actually become friends until kinda recently. When I sent him the album he said he wanted his band Guiding Light to remix 'Death Valley', and I thought it was a perfect fit," explains Klein. "The result is a hypnotic, hazy little gospel. We thought it would be good to collaborate on visuals for it so we, along with photographer VK Red and Tara from Guiding Light, all contributed footage and Tara edited it together."

The single (remixed by Jason Russo) comes off My Jerusalem's second full-length release, Preachers, which was—astoundingly—recorded in under three weeks by Spoon's Jim Eno (Heartless Bastards, Poliça, Black Joe Lewis). Preachers is available now via The End Records.

Here I Am

Danger Twins is an eclectic indie duo from Nashville, TN.  Their latest EP’s, titled GO BOOM showcases the unmistakably attitude-laden pop+rock+hiphop cocktail that has been turning heads since their 2016 self-titled debut.  Fuzzy bass guitars, vintage drum machines, and idiosyncratic home-made synths all create the perfect playground for lead-singer Amy Stroup. And its a recipe that has paid off; their songs have garnered millions of Spotify plays and Youtube views and have been featured in TV shows like “Shameless”, “Conviction”, “Vampire Diaries”, “Son of Zorn”, “Charming Charlie”, “Younger”, and “Imposters”, to name only a few.  Much of their success has been born of their uncanny creative prolificacy.   “We actually try to release a new EP every few months since we write so many songs and basically live in the studio” says Stroup.  A proposition that is fine by their ever growing fan base!
