Dan Giffin is a producer, DJ, drummer, and Ableton Live Instructor living in Indianapolis, IN.

Dan's producing and DJing skills grew after studying music in New York City. He eventually accepted a job teaching music production with Ableton Live at The Lodge Recording Studios, a world-class studio in Indianapolis home to Grammy & Platinum artists. 

Dan also produces under the name Philia, a funk/ electronic/ jam music project. Live shows are full of interactive visuals and blissful dance rhythms infused with jam-band instrumentals. The word "Philia" comes from 1 of the 4 Ancient Greek words to describe friendship-love.
