The second we heard this track, we had to put it out. WotNot Music bring you a tasty slice of summer pop, with a hazy synth-pop remix from DA-10 for those balmy August evenings.

Another bright young talent, Danglo’s positive, intelligent instrumentals and penchant for infectious vocal lines have led to releases on CoolKid Music and Dandelion Lotus Records, with support from Mary Anne Hobbs, Bondax, Karma Kid, Happa and Mickey Pearce along the way.

The skippy instrumental, with its driving organ stabs and percussive bass, perfectly underlies the sweet, loving vocals of Ivan Franco & Tokyo Lopez, the tender back-and-forth ever-so-slightly reminiscent of T.E.E.D’s Garden, but with a foot firmly in ‘the London sound’.

Hardware-masters DA-10’s slo-funk remix takes the track to dreamy, summer-on-Mars territory with warm pulsing drones, deep synth bass and stuttering vocals over crisp half-time beats.

This sun-drenched release will follow Danglo and his impressive live set-up to gigs in Ibiza and London this summer, so make sure you catch him soon.

After releasing 3 EP’s with Kitsuné Masion, he took a year to reflect on his sound and direction and has signed two new singles with Armada Deep.

He has also remixed the likes of Maribou State, Say Lou Lou, Crystal Fighters and Lethal Bizzle and with support in the clubs from the likes of The Magician, Tough Love, TCTS, Ben Pearce, The Golden Boy, and Bondax as well as radio support from national stations such as Radio 1, 1Xtra, Kiss and Capital XTRA.

Danglo and Ben Luca met at a house party in Leytonstone and chatted about doing a collab whilst doing an impromptu back to back DJ set together. Danglo was working on a remix for Fabich and so they met up the next week and put some simple Larry Heard style chords down and slowly added a Julio Basmore-esque bassline. Trying to fuse the deep house world and the crunchy lo-fi scene whilst staying true to the original Fabich track they have managed to create a rolling vocal deep house track that we can’t stop playing.
