This is my cover of "Mad About the Boy", a popular song with words and music by British actor and playwright Sir Noël Coward (1899-1973). It was introduced in the 1932 revue Words and Music byJoyce Barbour, Steffi Duna, Norah Howard and Doris Hare. The song deals with the theme of unrequited love for a film star.  Dinah Washington covered it in 1952.

Originally written in Yiddish by Jacob Jacobs (lyrics) and Sholem Secunda (music), for the Yiddish musical "I Would If I Could" in 1933. English lyrics written for the Andrews Sisters by Sammy Cahn and Vic Schoen within a couple of days of the Nov 24, 1937 recording. "Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen" means "By Me, You Are Beautiful" - a triple entendre which could mean either "To me, you are beautiful", "Standing with me, you are beautiful" or "Compared to me, you are beautiful."
