Founded in 2010 as a gathering spot for fans of alternative sounds, Sound-Exhibitions first took shape as a club night, built on deep connections with like-minded artists around the globe. By 2012, that energy found a more permanent home with the launch of Sound-Exhibitions-Records, based in Olbia, Sardinia. The now long-running Disco Tape series has soundtracked many such adjacent parties, and this new septet of songs is no exception, moving through individual contributions from Phil Disco, Sasha Cos, Disqobot and Metaverse Project, and then ending on a three-pronged contribution from the London-based revolver, Mosaik Kolektif. Our highlight has to be 'Champs-Elysees', a stereo-funk raster titularly dedicated to the stylish Paris promenade.

This track celebrates the strong friendship we've built over the years—through hanging out, playing together, and making music. I'm really glad we put this collab together about two years ago.

It blends Detroit-style stabs reminiscent of early Soultek, a punchy 909 kick dialed in by Denny Trajkov, and rolling hi-hats. With a deep house undercurrent, it sits perfectly between techno and house—something for both camps.
