Hello everyone,

In 2019 I launched the first volume for my summer mix series! Exactly one year later i'm back with vol 3. Tried to combine tracks from friends, recent releases and older classics!

D-Flex returns to Breeze with style after his recent lockdown free download, and boy are we glad to have him on board with these tunes. Easy hits hard, with a heavy kick matched by an equally powerful bass that thumps you right in the chest, whilst the Golden Age opens with a warbling female vocal that takes you to the dunes of the Middle East before dashing you in the sand with a steppy jungle riddim. Let’s Go is reminiscent of an old-school jump up tune, and Rudeboy is an unadulterated bass-driven warped synth riddim. These tunes show his progression as a producer over the last year, and you can expect more from him on Breeze in the future.

Sub-liminal savagery incoming! Leaf drifts his way back onto the ever-reliable label with two spiky pieces of straight-up dark funk jump-up. "Erby" celebrates the sticky green with a great vocal sample and the most venomous Q&A bassline Leaf's ever done (which is saying something) while "Jamaican Dub" sees Jam Thief Dunk join the fray. Following his recent slew of solo cuts, Dunk's angular, roughhouse grit is the perfect complement to Leaf's leftfield fire. The results speak for themselves.
