The 29th release for CMND CTRL, welcomes Berlin based 
DJ/Producer J:ORDS with 2 new original tracks for the masses. His 
productions balance emotional, driving, and hypnotic elements to 
deliver a dark, but punchy product for the dance floors. J:ORDS 
starts things off with his track “Expose”, thumping kicks & tribalized
percussions set the stage as warm basslines and hypnotic synth 
loops take over. J:ORDS as a nice blend of carefully layered 
ambient sounds and breakdowns that make this track a perfect 
midnight DJ tool.

J:ORDS next track, “Recharge”, is a nice driving Techno track with 
pulsing synth stabs, choppy percussions and strong beats perfect 
for those late-night dance floors.

The 5th installment on Vitus’ Curse is a rhythmic adventure by DJ and producer duo VILLA with 5 tracks ranging from tribal infusions and electronic bliss to straight-forward late-night rave vibes straight out of Frankfurt, Germany. Inspired by the extinct bird of Kauai, the project ventures into themes of impermanence and ethereal beauty. Standout tracks embody the aura of intimate gatherings and grand clubs alike, encapsulating an auditory journey that feels both eternal and fleeting. Closing with a transformative remix by French master Ferdinger, this EP is not just a dance record, but an ode to cycles – those that end and those that endure.

“Extinct” is a rhythmic and powerful 4x4 odyssey layered with intricate hi-hats, rolling percussions, and a rawness known from the early 2000’s. Dani Durán is a techno DJ, producer, and the owner of Nested Label, a platform for his own productions and a home for artists with a shared vision of deep, hypnotic techno. Active since the early 2000s, Dani’s signature sound—marked by powerful grooves and hypnotic textures—has resonated in renowned clubs such as Fabrik (CODE), Blackworks, Florida 135, and Family Club, among others.

In 2024, Dani embarked on his international journey with a tour across Colombia, performing in Medellín, Armenia, Oriente Antioqueño, and Sevilla Valle. Building on that momentum, he continued to expand his global reach in 2025 with a performance at The Cause (London) as part of the Crudo Audio showcase.

As a producer, Dani has released music on respected labels including BCCO, LABRYNTH, Abstract Mechanisms, Utopia Society, (R)3Volution, Hyperfocus, and Diffuse Reality. His tracks have garnered support from key figures such as Richie Hawtin, DVS1, Ben Klock, James Ruskin, Takaaki Itoh, and Ben Sims.
