'DiAMOND’, is DANiCA’s most current release and has a breezy, dream-state quality. The combination of her distinctive, soulful vocals, supported by gritty hip hop tones, and laced with Hawaiian, washy electric guitar makes for a quirky mix. The track is best described as alternative pop with an electronic, experimental twist. It was produced by the talented Nosaapollo who worked on Craig David’s most recent album. 

This track is all about how we all need to reflect our light, and we each posses the quality to make the world a better, brighter place, so lets do it! 

The video is directed by DANiCA, and shot by Alex Odam, who has worked for the likes of “House of Pharoes” - an upcoming London act

WASTE MY TiME

"MOVE ON MY OWN" - written & recorded by DANiCA HUNTER in Malaga, Spain.

The track, which is short but sweet, intended to make u want more and put it on repeat, is driven with low fi, hip hop beats that you can't help but feel, with heavy jazz-influenced piano, and the crackle of an old school vinyl on the turntable. The vocals were written and recorded with the intention of being raw, real and giving u something a little different each time you listen back.

Written and recorded in an evening, it's one of those tracks that just caught a moment and is intentionally left open and exposed in its production form.

The track was inspired by DANiCA's surroundings at the time as she travelled through Spain, writing and collaborating with different creatives, from the rap and hip hop beats on the streets of Malaga, to the jazzy bass, influenced by underground music in venues nearby, and added to by DANiCA's gritty vocals bringing it all together.

This is one of many tracks to come from DANiCA HUNTER over the next several months, with her upcoming EP "i AM MORNiNG STAR" {4 tracks} due to be released in OCTOBER this year. Expect to see exciting, polished and fresh things coming from DANiCA very soon.
