Weird Sounding Dude is a Bangalore-based music producer/DJ. Drawing his influences from the likes of James Holden, Extrawelt, and Nathan Flake. Weird Sounding Dude's trademark chuggy grooves, squelchy rhythms, and winding melodies are sure to satisfy his listeners but there are always a few surprises along the way.

Life is about evolving and as it happens with a lot of artists, only DJ’ing wasn’t enough for Weird Sounding Dude's musical odyssey, so he embarked on a journey to prove his worth as a self-taught music producer. In a very short span of time, Weird Sounding Dude became a regular on the Beatport charts, and his music went on to gain continuous support from some of the top renowned artists such as Tony McGuinness (from Above & Beyond), Above & Beyond, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Guy J, Nick Muir, Marsh, Armen Miran, Lost Desert, Cid Inc., Roy Rosenfeld, Khen and many more.

Weird Sounding Dude continues to make a mark in the underground circuit by having releases on some of the most prestigious record labels in the dance music industry such as Anjunadeep, Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Hoomidaas, Souksonic, Kindisch, Everything Will be Okay, Plattenbank, meanwhile, Perspectives Digital, Laika Sounds, Mango Alley, onedotsixtwo, Juicebox Music, Eat My Hat Music, Balkan Connection, 3rd Avenue, Tarnished Tracks, If You Wait Music, Strangers Beats, Strange Town Recordings, Stripped Recordings among many others. Well-known music blogs such as Progressive Astronaut, Change Underground, Release Promo, Underground Tel-Aviv, When We Dip, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Melodic Deep, Bespoke Music, Husa Sounds have shown regular interest in his tracks. Weird Sounding Dude was also nominated for the MyFav Awards for the years 2014-15 and 2015-16. Weird Sounding Dude's 'Hyper Dream' track was picked as track of the year by Above & Beyond's Tony Mcguinness during his interview with Sky News for the year 2021.

Weird Sounding Dude has always enjoyed a place in the underground dance music culture with performances at music festivals such as Anjunadeep Open Air, Vh1 Supersonic, Sunburn, Satellite Beachside, R.E.S.E.T., La Foresta (Sri Lanka), Voodoos Fest (Sri Lanka), Ctrl Alt Dance, Krank, Locals District, Lost & Found Showcase (Goa, India) and played at some of the most celebrated venues across India. Weird Sounding Dude has had the privilege to share the decks with Ben Bohmer, Cristoph, Jody Wisternoff, Guy J, Yotto, Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Cubicolor, Nils Hoffmann, Nox Vahn, Mind Against, Braxton, Khen, Enamour, Jerome Isma-Ae, Stan Kolev, Jimpster, Vaal, Dauwd, BOg, to name a few. 2023, is off to a great start for Weird Sounding Dude as he is all set for his first tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Chris Domingo, a.k.a Domingo +, and Perry Domingo, known as Loveclub, are two brothers who embarked on their musical journey in the heart of Orlando, Florida, in 1983. Little did they know that this initial spark would evolve into a blazing inferno of creativity, propelling them to the summits of the electronic music scene. Chris discovered the magic of two turntables, setting him on a trajectory toward becoming a recording engineer by the age of 13 in 1989, while Perry left the scene years ago to raise a family. As drum machines became the heartbeat of the studio, fate intervened in the form of a fortuitous encounter with Victor Simonelli. This pivotal moment led Chris to New York City, where he was mentored by legends like Frankie Bones, Tony Humphries, and Bobby Condors, imprinting upon him an insatiable love for the 4/4 rhythm that would never wane.

With no specific genre to confine them, their music traverses everything from Deep House to Techno with equal finesse. Drawing inspiration from a myriad of influences, including Audiotones, Kruder and Dorfmeister, and even the eclectic sounds of Pet Shop Boys, Domingo + Loveclub craft a sound that is both timeless and transcendent. With several top releases on esteemed labels such as The Purr, Amulanga, Melody Of the Soul, Tale & Tone, Songuara, and Stellar Fountain, Domingo + Loveclub have firmly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Their upcoming EP on Melody Of The Soul is in the pipeline, and they have a plethora of good music set for release this year.

Emi Galvan / Flowing / Episode 52 Live in Barcelona

Daniel Carlsson aka Dani-C is a Dj from Stockholm, Sweden. From an early age, he performed his own songs, which he wrote in school. From that time on, he knew that someday music and performance was going to be something he would do for the rest of his life. He had found his passion and calling.

In 1983, as a 12 year old, he took his first steps into Pipers, a big disco in Torremolinos, Spain. The atmosphere was euphoric. DJ was playing Kool & the Gang, "She's Fresh". The dance floor was moving/bouncing up and down. The coloured disco lights were striking him like thunderous lightening bolts from heaven! It was confirmed, Dani-C wanted to be a DJ.

Dani-C has a huge collection of vinyl, with covering many styles, but it was the electronic music from the end of the 80's that influenced him the most. 

For that reason, he started listening to Techno and Trance in the mid 90's. Artists like Oliver Lieb, Emmanuel Top, Etnica and X-Dream were almost Gods to him.

But as time went by... it was one artist and album, that infected him the most into his love of "Progressive House" today, and that was the one and only, UK Sasha... with his  Global Underground Ibiza...
