Unreleased? Im now sharing this deep mix I've been sitting on for many months. I guess I was ultra self critical and never released it after originally recording. After re-visting it recently, Ive decided I was being silly so Im now pushing how into the interwaves for your listening pleasure.  

If recall correctly. At the time of making this recording, I started with my favorite artist, Gil-Scott Heron, for an intro and just flowed into this mix from the deepness he set forth. Have a nice listen. Thanks!

For the last decade, Japanese producer Keita Sano has been putting out inventive house, disco and techno grooves on hot labels like Let’s Play House, 1080p and Mister Saturday Night, always bringing fresh ideas and tough grooves to the table. Off the back of his superb new ‘Love Is Emotion’ EP on Delusions Of Grandeur, we invited Okayama-based Sano-san to our podcast series where producers mix only their own material, and he’s come up trumps with an hour of exclusive, unreleased material. From hard disco to funky acid workouts to bugged out broken beats, it’s the sound of an endlessly creative artist at work.

Over the course of the past ten years, Berlin Based DJ and producer Johannes Paluka, otherwise known as Iron Curtis or Achterbahn D’amour, has been pushing his signature style of deep and atmospheric house and techno music with the world via such labels as Retreat, 4 Lux, Hudd Traxx and Acid Test to name a few.

With an excellent new six-track EP about to drop on Office Recordings, Paluka kindly provided us with a superb hour long recording for the 63rd edition of our Mix Series.

Akin to the mysterious sea anemone, Daniel Allen's sensibilities extend from deep underground straight up to the glimmering surface. Since his start in '89, he's had his tentacles in everything — 80s, drum & bass, house, techno, and all fusions thereof — giving his DJ sets a riveting, tactile quality. On the creative side, Daniel currently has over 50 releases distributed on labels such as Viva Recordings, Priroslin, Colour and Pitch, and many more. Between steering the helm of misfit record label Denied Music and studio work, he can be found at his residencies in Austin, New Orleans, and Houston.
