After I wrote the song "Leone" a friend suggested that the song told too much of the story.  Since he's a proper successful musician who knows a lot I took his advice to heart.  I changed the lyrics so that they told less of the story.  I suppose he was right about the song, but I never felt completely satisfied with the results.  lI suppose I've felt that the new version, the one that's been on this site for a long time, was somehow less honest.  So I've restored the original lyrics, remixed, remastered the song and given it a new name.

Il parle des états d'âme d’une personne amoureuse qui vient d'être trompée et qui est triste et en colère. Le rythme soutenu  de la pièce  démontre une force de caractère de la personne face à cette trahison. 

This title, originally composed in 1994 and rearranged in 2024 for MCDC is part of the trilogy 'of tumultuous loves' from the micro-album PHONOGRAPHE by MCDC.  He talks about the states of mind of a lover who has just been deceived and who is sad and angry. The sustained rhythm of the play demonstrates the strength of character of this lover in the face of this betrayal.

Hey guys,
after a while, I am back with a cover of one of my favorite - and one of the most underrated - John Denver tracks: "Catch Another Butterfly". It deals with the passing of childhood and remembers the beauty of it. Truly a masterpiece.

I write songs.  I'm not a performer any more than I need to be to have my songs heard once in a while. I hope that better musicians than I encounter my songs and decide to play them.  I just write songs to have them exist in the world. If the world likes them then the world can do with them what it will.  All these recordings are demos.  I've tried to make them as musically interesting as I can but they are all awaiting the skilled hand of someone who knows how to make songs shine.
