I missed the moon landing.  I don't know how I managed to do it and I doubt it means anything, but it needed a song.

I like to say it was work

On the other hand I might have simply forgot

If I lied and said I saw it
What kind of difference would it make
Would they welcome me with open arms
And say there must have been a mistake
Or would there still be some other thing
How I look or maybe what I believe
Would they still have some sort of trouble with me
If I thought that things’d change would that be naive

Cus when I say I wasn’t there on that day
They give me a look and then walk away
A community’s defined by things that we share
I’m going to be on the outside ‘cause I wasn’t there
Did it matter at all - no way I’ll ever know
It was simply something that I didn’t see
But over time the fact that I missed it
Began to matter to me

Working At The Time

I write songs.  I'm not a performer any more than I need to be to have my songs heard once in a while. I hope that better musicians than I encounter my songs and decide to play them.  I just write songs to have them exist in the world. If the world likes them then the world can do with them what it will.  All these recordings are demos.  I've tried to make them as musically interesting as I can but they are all awaiting the skilled hand of someone who knows how to make songs shine.
