The original is piano solo vs full orchestra. I'm trying to do it all live one one track with piano and some synth. So it feels a little bit empty at times.

The instrument is a Clavia Nord Stage 2 using a sampled Yamaha C7 grand piano and some sampled Mellotron flute and a synth pad.

The  heartrending main title "Kiss me, hold me, love me"  composed  by  Karel Swoboda for the  movie "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella" (Tri orisky pro Popelku /  Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenputtel), directed  by Vaclav Vorlicek, main cast: Libuse Safrankova;  is  still one  of the  best  movies  of and  about  Cinderella  ever !  Disney  hardly  comes  close  to  that magic. A gem of past days  of the  cold  war (CSSR/GDR).

The Procession of the Nobles is the best-known piece that survived an ambitious project which was never completed due to lack of money. No less than five composers, several orchestras, choirs and ballet schools were to participate in what should become an enormous show-piece of comprehensive theatre. The project failed because of lack of sponsors and internal conflicts, but it provided this magnificent composition. Mlada tells the story of Princess Voislava who kills her friend Princess Mlada because she is in love with Mlada’s fiancé Prince Jaromir. Mlada’s spirit – personified by a female dancer – succeeds in convincing Jaromir in a dream of Voislava’s cruel act. Jaromir revenges himself. Morena, goddess of the underworld, invoked by Voislava to chase Mlada’s spirit, avenges the dying princess. An infernal storm brings death and destruction. In the final chorus of the opera the spirits of the deceased pay a tribute to the souls of the lovers Jaromir and Mlada united in death.

Beethoven's fifth symphony is regarded as one of the most renowned symphonies in the entirety of classical music. Its consistently recurring and exceedingly iconic introductory tune, allows it to link the symphony's four movements together into the innovative, complex and emotionally arousing piece that it is universally acclaimed for. It is the perfect classical track to indulge into at any deserving moment.

I was just practicing tonight and felt like recording one of the pieces.  Beethoven's Sonata No. 14 in C# minor Op. 27 No. 2, or otherwise known as 'Quasi una fantasia' or the 'Moonlight Sonata'.  I recorded this on a Steinway D and mastered it in my mastering studio www.alpinemastering.com

Dmitri Shostakovich wrote his Symphony No. 2 in B major, Op. 14 and subtitled To October, for the 10th anniversary of the October Revolution. It was first performed by the Leningrad Philharmonic Orchestra and the Academy Capella Choir under Nikolai Malko, on 5 November 1927. After the premiere, Shostakovich made some revisions to the score, and this final version was first played in Moscow later in 1927 under the baton of Konstantin Saradzhev. It was also the first time any version of the work had been played in Moscow.
