"Slow Rain Falling" is about my first visit to the San Juan Islands. I was in high school and went on a camping weekend adventure with a few friends. It rained the entire time, we got soaked. It was beautiful. Featuring Tara Craig on backing vocals and piano, Wes Waddell on mandolin and yours truly on all other instruments. Mixed & Mastered by Iain Greta. Artwork by Pete Robinson.

I remember Betty saying that.
It was called prions and it is very rare
But not as rare as Mel
My three uncles all had powerful stories to tell
They captured an epic life in a few short words 
Nothing scares my mom as much as speaking in public but on that day she did an incredible job
Of telling us all how she loved him and how he loved his little girl
A joyful love, powerful and pure
I still don’t know how they put someone so much larger than life into such a small confined space
I don’t think I ever will
And as we all stood there
Everything suddenly seemed blurry and distant 
As the world collapsed in on itself
