CASIO CZ1 Synthesizer Demo (solo track)

Dual arpeggiation on the iconic Jupiter-6. Two typical Roland sounds performed manually with different arpeggi per split Zone. Both arpeggi are  unlatched. That means arpeggi & sound stop when keys are released. This is more difficult to maintain the clock but allows some kind of playing bass and lead.

CASIO HT 6000 synthesizer demo

DX5 is the 2nd most expensive DX synthesizer by YAMAHA. Sound is more balanced than DX7II.  Always a single sound or a layer - no splits on that recording,  no (audio) multi track.

CZ1 Crazyfunk/Psychedelic Science

Too many misunderstandings concerning Saw Width Modulation on Synthesizers because too little had/have that feature. A lot of people think its Wave mix (Saw with Pulse)or Shape. Sorry but that´s nonsense. Can you notice the difference - the octave (up)fade in. Anything happens within a single oscillator.

Saw Width Modulation

Saw Width Modulation (00:00 - 00:15) is a typical Oberheim synthesizer-feature when Saw and Pulse is pressed simultaneously. It´s possible OBXa has it but its predecessor OBX does without. Saw wave is modulated INSTEAD of Pulse to act similar to (but more floating than a) flanger. It is neither wave shape (Saw to Triangle) nor saw with pulse. Since my OB8 is broken I can only show it with Yamaha AN1x f. e. Just a small selection of synthesizers has it. In my rig it´s Oberheim OB8, Matrix 6r & 1000, Marion Systems Prosynth, Roland Vsynth GT, Alpha Junos, KORG Z1 & Yamaha AN1x. SWM is the name I gave it to because there are no concrete explainations in owner´s manuals.
