Acoustic freeverse/freestyle off the cuff and from the heart. It’s so wild, this is the very first recording I made in my new apartment as I moved 2000 miles from home to Arizona. I didn’t realize how much I missed it right from the start. The sad and ironic thing is, within a few years there, I ended up breaking my left hand In several places and haven’t played the guitar since. I love music- especially acoustic because it’s so cathartic and healing to just sing whatever is welling up from your heart. I hope and pray I can play again! Lord willing. I just sang whatever was on my heart this day as it came to my mind. Hope to go back over this and re record in better quality. This song is for the one that got away. It’s crazy how fast time flies… and as the years pass I’m reminded of times when I went left when I should’ve went right. For whatever reason, that’s the path we chose. It’s hard to accept that truth, when your heart knows this person was the best thing that happened to you. I suppose I had a track of self sabotaging in my life. I can look back and when things were good, there’s a tendency to throw it away. I’ve learned a lot over the last few years about what makes a person special. There were numerous with this one, but the most important is always there relationship with their parents, especially their father. Anywho, I digress, I have many fond memories of this relationship and I wanted to put this out there rather than letting it sit in my voice memos. I miss you and you’re an Angel. You deserve the best and I’m sure you won’t settle for anything less 🙂 thx for the memories and fun times together.

First single titled "Can't Wait Any Longer" The meaning speaks to two things- for one: How I never put music out because I'm hesitant its not good enough, or I think others will judge me. So I'm finally saying Hey! it doesn't matter. Its about the message and lyrics! I wrote this song to this instrumental years back, Ive always wanted to record them.

#2 The drive behind this song is so many artists- whether pop music or rap... I feel we don't have enough main-stream artists being positive role models, speaking about the true battles of life. So much of our music and culture "LIVES FOR THE MOMENT" its the right here and now- LIVE IT UP! YOLO! Who cares about tomorrow! well,... thats all awesome and high-energy- but being born in 89 and growing up with 90s music. It was deep- introspective, and made you reflect on the life you were living and where you want to go. So much of the music in the Alternative Rock/Pop days got our generation thinking- about changing the world, and more so about not being perfect, artists like Jewel, Nirvana, Eve6, Fuel, TEB, Matchbox, and even the Rap - Tupac, Warren G, Bone Thugs N Harmony- their lyrics talked about life, and struggle. Not just materialistic possessions. Hope you like the track! 

Cant Wait Any Longer

Christian Singer Songwriter, Acoustic Guitar and Harmonica Player, Indie, Folk, Rap. 

Inspired by alternative rock from the 90s, as well as the introspective, mellow-rock of the 60s to 70s. Growing up in a small, rural town I can remember rainy-day drives in my moms car while listening to the thought-provoking music of the 90s. Artists such as: Matchbox 20, Third Eye Blind, Jewel, Soul Asylum, Counting Crows, Eve 6, Everclear, Mighty Might Bosstones, and Sugar Ray instilled a deep connection to story-telling and an honest self-reflection. 

As I've grown older, I enjoy the music of: Jackson Browne, The Eagles, Cat Stevens, Tom Petty, Bob Segar, Van Morrison, and Tracy Chapman. I would say it can be called "Highway Rock" as their music is driving to the soul, its inspiring, and telling of the world we live. Something Browne described as "The Universal Experience" where we're all connected in some way by the events and memories we share. 

The songs I write tend to paint the human emotions of suffering and overcoming. I see and notice the homelessness around me, or the litter in the streets, the quest and and endless search for more and materialism, and I try to convey that heart-felt stirring in words and music.
