All sounds programmed with modular and some with Novation Peak, or recorded during hikes out in mother nature.

Ruje (Modular Soundjourney)

An ambient modular jam with ensemble oscillator, rings, plaits, marbles and nebulae. A lot of cv and even more manual interventions. :)

A one take session I made with the small modular setup in a most beautiful place. The upcoming thunderstorm, birds and incoming rain I've recorded right in front where I lived for ten days. The beauty here is undescribable and touches me deeply. I left more space for nature, the minimalistic modular sounds simply supporting the slow development of storm and rain.

Voyage °6

My first ambient meditation in our new home after more than two months of silence of the rack. It's truly magical here, thankful I am. All sounds come from the subharmonicon, wich I built into the rack. Data Bender, Morphagene and Starlab are involved too.

I often sit behind the magic machines without any aim of making a song, but for the sake of just making music for the moment, for myself to calm and get in this healing meditative state of mind. Sometimes I do not forget to press the record button and the results I will post here from time to time. Maybe you'd like to bath in these sounds too.

Nina Simone - Feeling Good (Daniel's Redub)

A rare dance floor set for the Tiefgang summer edition on a sunny afternoon in a beautiful spot at the river Aare here in Bern. It was a special one for me, as one of my closest soulmates had a very bad medical emergency last week and is now fighting for her life in hospital, and I wasn't really in the mood to play or party. But since she loves to dance, I did this set kind of for her. And also for me, to get out of my head for a good hour at least.

I played the first set of the evening of our last Flanieren at club In Transformation formerly known as Kapitel in my hometown Bern/Switzerland. The club will unfortunately close its doors forever. due to lack of financial support from the city of Bern. It's a sad thing and many, many memories of my last 14 years are linked to this place, where I have played a lot, listened to uncountable many Djs, made many many wonderful friends. The owners of the club are souls of gold and their wish for diversity, in every sense, was always present. Their love and passion for music outside of the mainstream is indefinite and I discovered a lot through them, just because they made it possible. Thank You Diego, Mali, Dino for all the work you put into this now sadly lost treasure.

As I mainly play ambient sets nowadays, I did not want to put me under the pressure of finding all new sounds just for one night. But as I have thousands of songs in my library, I picked some I played a lot and some I never played but love a lot. Of course, the list of favourite tracks is multiple times larger than it could be for a set of one and a half hour.. 🙃

Thank you In Transformation. it was truly an honour and you'll stay forever in my heart! ❤️

Voyage °44

Wow, this was actually the first time I played in front of a full room with souls all facing the stage  and listening to what I play. I mean it was like silent in the room when I started. This made me almost shit my pants. And what do I do with my face, I would like to hide behind a mask.. haha. 

But then it was so nice to discover, that I really feel comfortable with my live setup, it's very flexible, and that I actually can play live, something I did not even consider of doing so  half a year ago. Also I felt the support from Intersubs Yannic, Eloise and from Valentin Young Hifi, who brought his high end sound system just for this opportunity. It's so comforting for me to see and feel, that there are souls, who deeply care for similar things when creating spaces. Thank You!
