Meine erste Begegnung mit dem @aniara-recordings Label war vor drei Jahren in der Kantine am Berghain: Aniara Party! Fünf Stunden klebte der Kiefer am Boden vor Fassungslosigkeit, wie anders der Sound doch ist, welchen ich in dieser Form noch nie gehört hatte.

Das Label wurde 2010 in Göteborg gegründet. Interpreten wie Genius of Time, Dorisburg (@alexanderberg), Auji, Porn Sword Tobacco, @henkebergqvist und viele mehr veröffentlichten mehrere Tracks für das Record Label. Durch den skandinavischen Touch merkt man schnell, dass hier keine abgefahrenen Party Lieder gefragt sind, sondern die Nordlichter mit detaillierten Melodien ihre Zuhörer erobern. Das Ziel des Labels auf ihrer Facebook Seite bringt es genau auf den Punkt: Exploring both the traditional, the unexpected, the fast, the slow, the nostalgic and the contemporary.
