RRFM resident Elias Mazian will play the next edition of our streaming series "Waiting for NACHTIVILLE". Elias is known beyond the canals of Amsterdam for his emotional synth-pop releases and cool house sets. Jelle Meeuwsen is also known as Poko Poko in his home country of Holland. He is part of a new generation of artists, committed to the development and furthering of house music as both a culture and an artistic expression. His past releases have included a few highlights before reaching Percebes's catalogue, namely as a fellow artist for Tomorrow Is Now, Kid! - the Amsterdam based label who's studio housed Ka§par and Helder Russo as resident artists for years.
From a shared sense of respect and artistic complementarity, Jelle reached out with new material and Percebes had no chance but to develop and release it as the amazingly emotional "Deambolar".
^"Deambolar" is Meeuwsen's first for Percebes Música, and a deeply personal release that relates and describes hard moments and their overcoming through resilience and courage. "Desolate" is a beautiful track that soothes with it's driving beats and melancholic feeling - like crying on the dance floor, thankful that you've made it out of that relationshjp in one piece. "Flood" is a sublimely arranged piece of dramatic and epic house music, a clear barrage of sentiment,
introspective anger and the force to overcome, while "Swashbuckler" is a hot acid number with a huge break beat intermission that is sure to rock many a demaning floor.
